Big white American car
This was very filmic. I was even thinking about it in filmic terms in the dream.
There was a big white American car tearing round this countryside. It was being chased by another car, a black car, which I think was a police car, but I only remember that it was black. They were screeching round. All very dramatic. A high-powered chase. In my dream I ws seeing it from a camera’s point of view. It was like a crane shot that tilted back, then came up and kind of turned into an aerial shot. From the high angle you could see the cars hurtling along the road, and the road snaking down towards a river. But there was no bridge there, the road just sort of stopped. Next to the river, just off the road, there was an old truck, parked sideways-on, with two planks leaned up against it, suggesting a sort of ramp. Pulling back from this scene you could see the cars coming round towards the river and you could see the truck. In a scene of high drama the white car came racing towards it, but as it hit the ramp the planks broke and the car smashed into the side of the truck.
I just thought it was hilarious and woke up laughing hysterically. I was laughing so hard I stubbed my toe on the radiator.
