lowered head-first
The scene is in a rain forest on a glade. The forest is very green with lots of different trees. The sky is blue. It's daytime. In the centre - very close to where I am or must be - is a fire made of wood and branches. Around the fire are ‘natives’, dressed in their local dress - (I remember seeing feather headresses and that sort of thing and they were showing quite a lot of skin, but I can’t remember any more details).
In the middle, over the fire, is a naked man tied to a tree-trunk with his head down, i.e., his feet are up in the air. The tree trunk must be hung from some kind of scaffolding but I only remember seeing it hanging down on a string - vertically. He lifts his head and seems to scream but I can't hear anything. His hands are tied to the tree behind his back. His legs are bent and also tied to the tree-trunk. With his legs in the air he is lowered head-first towards the fire and slowly burnt.
If I could paint I could give you a better picture of this man being burnt from his head first. I can see all his muscles torn as he tries to move away from the fire. Without success though.
