old family friend
I was 21, in France for a year studying. I dreamed a friend of my mother's was trying to tell me something. This guy was an old family friend. I couldn't understand him though and woke up feeling uneasy. When I arrived home at the end of my stay, my mother told me she was leaving my father. She'd waited until I came back on the advice of this man, who'd been trying to say something to me in the dream. It was uncanny.
